Looks like it was part of the manufacturing process. This is a highly recommended product at a super low cost!

Fits Nokia 520 well. Not too bulky... still fits in "Nokia Lumia 521 Black Horizontal Case Pouch." Fosmon case makes phone easier to hold. Buttons are slightly harder to press with case, but not a problem. At $3.97 it is reasonably priced. Have been using case for over a month and it still looks like new. Purchased a second case for a family member who is happy with it as well. Shipping was prompt in both cases.
